Laura Watton-Davies (née Watton) is a UK graphics artist & illustrator.
Working freelance, Laura has experience with comics, games, flyers and numerous other illustration-based projects; she works remotely from her studio in Cambridge. Laura also hosts How-To workshops and gives talks and demonstrations. Please contact her if you are interested in arranging one for your group, school, library or exhibition.
Laura has produced a number of comics including stories featured in Sweatdrop Studios’ anthologies. In 2006, Laura was one of the winners of the Neo Magazine comic competition, and also achieved a runner-up position in Rising Stars of Manga United Kingdom and Ireland #3.
Laura was also a founding member of Sweatdrop Studios; a member since its inception until 2010. She works on her series Biomecha, which is an ongoing self-published comic, shortlisted for the 2007 Eagle Awards; further information is available here.
